The pieces are placed on a chessboard with standard dimensions of 8x8 cells (location as in the figure below).

Only one figure can be placed on one cell.

Depending on which faction you play, the design of the board and interface changes.

Note that the player's pieces are always on the bottom and the opponent's pieces on top.

The arrangement of the pieces on the board is like in classical chess. At the same time, if the player plays for Zombies (black), then the Queen will always be on a black cell, if for Elves (white), then on a white cell.

Also in Chess Zombies it will be possible to upgrade your game boards, increasing their size and adding new properties to them. More details in the .
